This restaurant is amazing well worth the drive. We had the Botanas for 2 easily feeds 4. All fresh and made to order.

Haven't had any bad meals. All have been really tasty and enough to take home for a couple days. Example regular hamburger is a pound . Childs hamburger bout half. Shrimp are huge , fish fillets are thick. Chicken fried steak seems to be one pound meat thick and tender. Beer is cold Botanas for one easily feeds 2. If good food drives your satisfaction at any restaurant you will not be disappointed I give it a 10 on food quantities and flavor. If you are looking for ambience best take it to go and you can eat it at your own home or in a park. It's a small hole in the wall. All employees are nice and friendly.

Ordered the botana for two and shrimp cocktail. Servings are huge, and the food is delicious! Will return!

In town for the Walk to End Epilepsy RGV. We were tired and in need of food and decided to stop by. Staff and management is really sweet and chatted and assisted us with ordering. Friendly atmosphere generous portions, DELICIOUS SWEET TEA. Botanas and parrilladas (and quesadillas) were amazing! Salsa is a must try you'll want to take some home. Thank you so much we will be back!

Marytierra for 2 and large coctel de camaron. Delicious! The red and green sauces were perfect, not too spicy. Next time will ask for more tortillas. The shrimps and fish fillets are big and cooked well, but heavily breaded. The portions are very generous.

Great little restaurant I found by chance. Have ordered several times and everything has been delicious! I have never dined in, it's all been to-go. Not over priced. The only thing is sometimes they take forever to answer the phone to place a to-go order but aside from that it's great! I definitely recommend this place. My favorite so far has been the papa asada with fajitas.

This place is a hole in the wall but do not let that discourage you from trying it! Also, bring cash. This place seemed kinda sketchy when I walked in but the food was on point. I got the Mar y Tierra for 4 and it could have easily fed 6. Not included in my picture are the 4 baked potatoes, 4 soups and a salad that were also included. It came with everything you could possibly want. Fish, shrimp, fajitas, frog legs, jalapeño poppers, quesadillas and so on. I say bring cash because their card payment is a hassle.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a cousin of ours that works for the county, he indicated that the location is a hole in the wall but worth going to......boy was he right!! The food was authentic Mexican food not your typical TexMex. My wife and I normally try out new places every once in a while so a 20 plus mile drive is worth it if the the food is great, which it was!!! First time we came we ordered the botana for 2 and it came with a very generous portion of food. A pound of fajita per person. It can literally feed 4 to 5. The fajitas were very tender and flavorful. Drinks were very good as well we got the sweet tea and fresh lemonade. They also have a delicious green salsa that we can't get enough of. Being that we had a good experience the first time around, we came a second and brought my parents. We ordered the mar y Tierra for 2 and it fed all 5 of us with food still left over. The shrimp, fish, frog legs, and stuffed crab were all very good as well as the fajitas and chicken. If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant that is reasonably priced and has generous portions of food that are delicious. You need to come here.
